Lina Torio, La Mestiza
Mestiza y la Ley is the solo project of composer/vocalist Lina Luna Torio. Mestiza plays original music, dynamicaly arranged fusing elements of urban son-salsa, Latin soul and city funk. This Oakland based collective released debut album “Mestiza” in ’09. Followed by an EP release “Son de Oakland” dropped in Dec of ’12.
